U.A.S. DRONE PILOT
Unmanned Aerial Systems
Introduction
In August of 2019, Ron re-purposed himself through 30 hours of classroom training and over 80 hours of remedial, self-study to become a Drone Pilot.
In September, he passed the FAA exam and became a Certified commercial drone pilot. In November of 2019 he received his FAA License as a UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) Drone Pilot.
Being Trained, Certified and Licensed, was to prepare Ron to teach the basics of becoming drone pilots as career alternatives, for Middle to High-School students.
Ron offers an introduction overview of what is required to become a Licensed FAA Drone Pilot. This is a one hour/period presentation for an assembly class of up to 400 students.
Please read the attached drone brochure below for more information.
